Quinoline Oligomers
1原子サイズ欠損型特殊擬平面状分子としてデザインされたキノリン3量体TriQuinoline:TQは,その中心間隙に由来する強力なプロトン保持能を発現し,構造上は脂溶性芳香族化合物の様相を呈しながらも水溶性を示す特異分子です。極性溶媒中でπ–π(face to face)ならびにCH-π(edge to face)相互作用により,他の芳香族分子と超分子錯体を形成します。DNAに対する強力なインターカレーションを起こし,腫瘍細胞の増殖特性作用も呈するとともに,非共有結合性相互作用による細胞内の液液相分離現象(LLPS)のモデュレーターとしての応用も期待されています。今後様々な誘導体化が可能であり,生物活性分子としての展開のみならず,環境中の有害多環式芳香族分子(PAH)の除去剤の開発も目指しています。最近では,ヘテロ原子導入とキノリン環の漸増による立体化分子のデザインを手掛けており,ホスト分子・触媒反応への応用など幅広い研究展開が期待されています。
